Look at all the predictions...they are all based on how the teams finished the season before. It's really sad that these jerks get paid so much money yet they can't even do the job they are paid for: to be OBJECTIVE analysts of the sport. Instead they write the easy story: how the saints will be in the superbowl because they went to the NFC championship the year before. It's sad, really.

Yep, and next year I'm sure we'll here lots of New England vs. Green Bay or New England vs. the Giants predictions. Very rarely does anyone go outside the box despite the fact there are always teams that come out of nowhere and teams that were in contention the year before but fail to even make the playoffs the next.

Reminds me of the NFL Network commercial showing fans talking about their teams before the season.
The media get paid for opinions. They don't get paid for not having an opinion. They are not experts, no more than we're experts. It's pretty laughable though to think they know more than any of us.
