How long till someone suggest that we make him swallow his pride and sign for the Vet minimum?
I'll suggest it...he was a helluva Linebacker for many years, and the ultimate team player...but his head is suspect...how many concussions has this guy had now? IMO if you sign him you are taking a big risk...too big to give him anything more than vet min...if the Cowpies want him for more than that, they can have him, personally I think he should call it a career while he can still remember his own name...

yeah he sat out of several games last year due to migraines, including the redskins opener...

I think I heard on NFL Network that he was being talked to by Dallas and New Orleans. I wouldn't want him here just for the simple fact that he is injury plagued and getting older.
I was thinking he would be PERFECT for the Pats. The way they run old LB's and use Miami's old talent, it just seems right.

Well, the guy still has something left in the tank. He will do a GREAT job for some team for maybe 6-10 games if they are lucky, but that's all you're gonna get with his head issues.
I'll pass, but I wish him luck in his employment search. He was too good a LB to end his career like this, he should end it on his own terms.

Zach helped ruin our season by taking Jansen out. I hope we get him so Jansen can eat him.

Damaged goods!
The more concussion you get the more prone you are to get another one. The stability of his brain in his skull is comprised, you do not recover form this type of condition. Troy Aikman had to retire due to reoccurring concussions and has was just a QB.
The amount of contact a MLB in the NFL has to endure Zach Thomas can not make it through a season much less a a game or two with out getting another concussion.
His career is almost over. Any team that signs him is making a big mistake. Regardless if you pay him the vet minimum, he will not last more than a game or two.
Trent Green the QB has the same condition, but he is a QB, which takes less of a pounding and the NFL has rules in place to protect QB's and their heads. MLB's do not.

I can see him in NO for some reason. It will be his last season and a complete waste of our time.

Now if Taylor gets a get out of jail free card (although unlikely IMO), this guy is one of the best DE in the entire league. We certainly have that need.
That would be interesting if he were to be next out of Miami, curious if the SKINS would make a run at him?

I think getting Taylor would be too good to be true but what would you have to give up to get him?
