I am unsure as to why there are so many people speaking poorly of Big Ben. When he first came out, I thought he was overrated, but this year, he really showed me a lot.
In case some of you guys have missed it, he threw for 32 tds (rushed for 2) and had only 11 int's. He also had a 65.3% completion percentage, and not to mention he already has a super bowl ring. The Steelers were smart to get this guy locked up for 8 years.

FYI- Ben vs the elite teams in the league last year:
Dallas, 193 yards, 2 tds, 0 int.
N.E., 196 yards, 2 tds, 0 int.
Jax, 221 yards, 2 tds, 0 int.
not bad.

If Ben isn't a top 5 qb in this league who is ahead of him? He is coming off a season in which, I believe, he was the second highest rated passer in the league, second only to the most prolific season in NFL history. There are guys who are close like Hasselbeck perhaps, but an argument placing Ben in the top 3-5 qb's is very plausible.
I think with Ben people exhibit a knee-jerk reaction to a guy they believe to be a game manager without really taking a step back to examine the poor level of quarterback play in the league right now, and how much better the big guy is than most of the competition. To the doubters, go through each NFL team and look at their quarterback situation, then see if you still feel Ben is not worth top 3 money.
