One year and 32,000 yards behind John Elway, cockroaches & Frerotte will be the lone survivors of a nuclear holocaust.
You forgot Aerosmith, Doug Flutie, Vinny Testaverde, and Morton Anderson... but Ferotte will be the only one left with a contract.
Does anyone remember 1999 wildcard playoffs? Charlie Batch of the Lions broke his thumb on his own lineman's helmet and their backup had to come in- Mr. Gus Ferotte. It felt so good to beat the crap out of them with him at the helm... I dont know why it just did.

And now, nearly 10 years later the Lions QB coach that day is our head coach today

Did not know that. Funny how Frerotte started here, and then went on to backup Trent Green in St. Louis who also started here, then he went to backup Brad Johnson in Minnesota who started here, and even played with Sage Rosenfels in Miami who was on our roster. He just cant get away from former Redskins QB's!

Less concussion, more blood. Frerotte.
You may be onto something, sounds like a good slogan for a commercial involving head case athletes.

That was the first playoff game I had ever been to. It was great... and the entire stadium was filled with targets with signs telling Gus to hit his head there.
I am a Gus fan, but that day I wanted to see him on his @ss.
