That's true 10% of nothing is nothing... Very creative. My point is not everyone's a boy scout. A guy like Henry is under so much scrutiny for how he looks and acts.... GWB was not:
Take a look at that list of what he's been arrested for and tell me you've never been guilty of any of them... Expired registration, pot on your person, above the legal limit driving... even our President has done some of these things.
It’s kinda funny that W has become the “example” in this case.
Let me preface this by saying I have absolutely no dog in this fight, so this is not me speaking but….There are those who think he is STILL breaking laws left and right.
Again, I have no intention of discussing the merits of such a position but some may point out the irony in the “tiger (or Bengal) can change their stripes” analogy.

Actually I encourage you to read this book on how a tiger (Bengal) can loose it's stripes:

Perhaps you should loan it to all the cretins you plan to bring to DC. If that is mean spirited, then I'm sorry. I’m the #1 second chance guy in the land, but if you can't learn after "a mistake" then you are an idiot and anyone (other than a defense attorney) who takes up their cause is little different.
As was the case with the Pac Man thread, I am retiring from this one because I can only take so much of this pandering to the criminal element. I'm sure I'll be missed.

Maybe it's me, but that is worthy of it's own thread instead of burried in one that's months old, SS. I must say, Im surprised the Eagles/Cowboys didn't go after Henry.

You're probably right. I didn't want to start a new one until it was totally confirmed though. I have it set for the latest posts to appear first when I see threads so it doesn't necessarily look buried to me. I understand your point though. Feel free to start a new thread on it.

Floyd Reese was saying that Commisioner Goodell would go so far as docking team draft picks for signing troubled players that continued to have run ins with the law (after being given the proverbial second chance). I guess that was one of many reasons why we didn't sign Odell Thurman.

Oh man, how great would it be if the Cowboys were docked picks because Adam Jones continues his old habits?

That would be great, but it's possible that right now the Cowboys might be saving those picks to trade for John Beck.
Cowboys check on Miami's Beck (http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/62617)

The Cowboys (http://www.fannation.com/tags/show_tag/6) have done a background check on Miami quarterback John Beck (http://www.fannation.com/tags/show_tag/7779), but they have not had talks with the Dolphins (http://www.fannation.com/tags/show_tag/15) regarding a potential trade for the 2007 second rounder, according to two sources. According to the sources, the Dolphins (http://www.fannation.com/tags/show_tag/15) contacted the Cowboys (http://www.fannation.com/tags/show_tag/6) - and other teams - about Beck shortly after coming to terms with Pennington. Owner and general manager Jerry Jones has expressed a desire to find a long-term backup to Tony Romo (http://www.fannation.com/tags/show_tag/1739) with Brad Johnson (http://www.fannation.com/tags/show_tag/156) turning 40 next month.
LMAO, background check? What does a Cowboy background check entail? Did he kill more then 5 people? Does he still have less then 3 strikes (theres a pun in that sentence)? Is he fast? Does he wear an ankle weight of the electronic variety and if so will it prevent him from coming to practice? I don't know why the hell the Cowboys would do a background check in the first place.
