Hmm...well yeah I guess so. Never really thought of it that way.

I always forget if it was Casserly that wanted him or Norv. I know that one wanted Shuler and Galloway, and the other wanted Dilfer and Westbrook.
I remember Norv wanted Heath... don't know about the rest of it. Were Galloway and Westbrook in the same class? Man, did we screw the pooch on that one if they were.

I'm pretty sure that Shuler was Norv's call.

You know i'm glad he's happy now. I can understand alot of what he's saying but it's his actions that led to his bad rap. I think most fans were rooting for him to do well. After the Davis incident he lost alot of respect. He's a very strange dude. Why would he think everyone is jealous of him? Don't get it.

Yeah I think you and Matty are right about Norv/Shuler. Westbrook was the #4 overall pick in 1995, Galloway was #8

But I think I was wrong about Galloway, judging by this

"Casserly wanted to pick Trent Dilfer of Fresno State, but Turner preferred Heath Shuler, coming out of Tennessee after his junior year."

"In the 1995 draft the Redskins again used their top pick on offense, this time to fulfill Turner's desire for a big-play wide receiver along the lines of Michael Irvin, whom he'd coached in Dallas. Again Casserly and Turner disagreed on the best choice--Casserly preferring Joey Galloway of Ohio State and Turner wanting Michael Westbrook of Colorado, who was bigger and more physical than Galloway."

I am glad that he is having a good time with Brazilian Jujitsu. Personally I cannot stand the art. I would much rather play football.

Nope! I agree with you meet him a couple he was kind of a dick. I still love the guy for his play on the field but probably would not want to drink beers with him.

One time I was at Criswell's in Gaithersburg, MD getting my car serviced. I saw a dirty Lamborghini and went over to look at it. As I was crouching down to check out the rims someone said excuse me can I get in my car. When I turned around it was Micheal Westbrook and I had his jersey on at the time! I was older then him at the time (still am). I felt like a twenty year old at New Kids on the Block concert in the eighty's.

I once followed him to Fed Ex while he was driving it to a game... He was late.

Dude had some guns though

Considering the careers, I would definately agree we should have kept Casserly and gotten rid of Norv first... oh well.
