Actually, I just noticed that his shirt looked like he had just rolled out of bed and noticed the belt. That's my story and I'm stickin to it.

LOL.

Now that you mentioned it, that is a pretty cool belt. I wonder where he got it.

Cooley is THE MAN with that pink shirt and hot chic by his side! aahhh, to be twenty-something again...

I'm surprised you got Dave Butz to smile, when I met him (ironically a few months after the superbowl XXII win), he about ripped my head off!

Butz was always stoic. But, he was just the nicest guy that night. I'd never met him before then, and it was a REAL treat!

He was in Fredericksburg last summer... he was really cool. If you were getting a mini helmet signed, he asked if he was the only one who was going to sign it... if you answered yes, he signed both sides so you could face it either way and see the autograph.

I have to give another shout-out to the good folks at PSGameGear Sports, who sponsored the event. PSGameGear boasts a full line of autographed memorabilia and other items from every major sport. The store at Dulles Town Center is INCREDIBLE and I highly recommend you visit it if you're ever out there. You also can visit them on the Web at Welcome Page (http://www.psgamegear.com).

That sounds like something he would do. Man, they just don't have athletes like these guys anymore. Let me tell you a story. I was talking to Reggie Branch at the party -- it's SOOOOO cool to say that! He told me that he LOVED his teammates because they were all about the team instead of "getting theirs" like a lot of today's athletes. Indeed, you always felt connected to them because they WERE part of the community and they never thought twice about signing an autograph when asked, both Friday night and back during their playing days. That's what made the glory years that much more special. It wasn't just about the Redskins winning, but how those players went out of their way to include the fans. I'm proud to have lived through that and I'll NEVER forget that night!
