Specifically, guys were talking about IPAs...here is who medaled this year:

Category 53: English-Style India Pale Ale (32 Entries)
Gold
Wild Goose IPA
Wild Goose Brewery
Frederick, Maryland


I really like the Wild Goose IPA, if you haven't had it, you may want to try it. It's not great, but there's nothing wrong with it.

Feel the same way...

I'm from Frederick, and the best deal for quality beer by far is the Wild Goose assorted 12 pack.

Stout, IPA, Porter, and a brown ale I believe. Great value.

I took the Wild Goose/Flying Dog Brewery tour, and they said their Variety Packs outsell their non-variety packs offerings 4 to 1...and the packaging is all done by hand. I kinda felt bad, knowing that I've purchased several Wild Goose variety packs in my day, and have help keep the workers there late nights. Oh well. Good beer is good beer...
