Lolol I'll change my picks then, I'll go with Wizards over Hornets in 6. If the Wizards make it past Cleveland then I think they'll have a decent shot to win the series against Boston because Washington has been able to play pretty good ball against them this season.

I've got the Sharks over the Rangers in the Stanley Cup

Everyone at work is picking Lakers vs. Celtics so I went against the grain (waaaay against the grain) and picked the Wizards over the Jazz. Zards is a total homer pick I know. I think the Jazz have really flown under the radar all year. The problem is I don't really like them and I'd like to see T Mac get past the first round.

Sixers are schooling the Pistons
Living in Philly, nobody will shut up about them. I remind them, Game 2, and how they will still smoke us. What do you think?

Well I didn't see the game tonight but it looks like it pretty even series so far. The Pistons didn't take their game 2 win and build on it so it looks to be an even series. If Philly wins the next one the odds are they will win the series.

I haven't been watching, I just got home not too long ago. I see they are down by 14 though. Not too good. Oh well...that's why it's a 7 game series.

Celtics are going to need some road games if they expect to win the championship

Yeah they are in a serious road funk. They won't be competing for a championship if they can't win a couple on the road.

On a side note, looking back at my predictions in this thread I realize just how bad I was. Montreal/San Jose are both eliminated from the playoffs and the Celts can't win one on the road at all.

I don't understand why they are so bad on the road! They had the best record on the road in the NBA if I recall right, and they are 0-5 thus far on the road. That's not a championship caliber team.
Although, on the flip side, they are 6-0 at home, and since they have home court advantage, they can continue this pace and still win it all. :D

I must say, it is kinda cool that it will be the Lakers vs Celtics in the finals again. I mean this is what the NBA was all about back in the 80s.
