Looks like someone can't stay outta trouble

ESPN - Bears' Benson arrested, charged in Austin with drunken driving - NFL (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3430752)

Oh my god. What a complete and total moron. This just amazes me. I'd like to give him a good firm open-handed slap to the face.

ANGELO HINTS BENSON’S JOB IN JEOPARDY
Posted by Michael David Smith on June 7, 2008, 2:07 p.m.

Hours after Bears running back Cedric Benson was arrested again, General Manager Jerry Angelo suggested that Benson ought to be concerned about losing his job over the matter.

“There was alcohol involved, that’s all we know,” Angelo said today, per the Chicago Tribune. “We are certainly going to take this seriously. Disappointment is too often-used word when talking about Cedric. The No. 1 lesson of every player is protect your job.”

If the Bears cut Benson (whose mug shot shows him grinning after he was arrested), their fans likely won’t mind: An unscientific poll on the Tribune’s web site shows that nearly 90 percent of respondents want the Bears to cut Benson.

Angelo also characterized the news of Benson’s arrest as “hard to believe’’ and said, “We are certainly going to take this very seriously.”

ZOMG, if they cut him we should sign him. Vet min + incentives. And if he screws up cut him. No big deal. This is low risk high reward. ZOMG

Things aren't looking good for Benson at this point. Once all the facts come out I wouldn't be suprised if the Bears cut him.

Agreed 110%. I dont want that clown on my team...first of all, he compeltley and utterly sucks at playing at the NFL level, and he's obviously a moron in general. I hope he gets cut and is unemployed.

I'm the only person in the state of Illinois right now with this opinion but:

1) I don't think CedBen gets cut.

2) I think he has a rebound year at RB for the Bears.

He's still a grade A moron, but stupid people can tote the rock too.

It's a shame to see pro talent go to waste because there are a lot of atheletes out there that would kill to be in the NFL. CB needs to ask himself did he go through all those years of training and studying to finally make it to the biggest stage of his profession to start acting like this. Good luck homey!
