yea Trotter has had problems with injureis everyyear, this is a new thing for barrow. He trains hard and keeps in better shape than a lot of the young guys.
Does anyone think Gibbs is working them to hard? everyone complained under marty about how hard he worked them. No one is complaining under gibbs but there are tons of little things. Do you think this is the coachs pushing them, or did our players just not come in good shape this year.

i know Trotter was a fiscal casualty, and i hope you guys are right about Barrow, its his age that worries me. then again, i liked Jesse Armstead. can;t wait to see Washington..

I really hope Mitchell or Peirce is ready to play some ILB. I have a bad feeling that injuries are gonna drag down Barrow this year.

its the nagging ones on the older guys that really bother me. Randy Thomas too..remember what happened to Fiore?
and then how comforting is it to know that our best receiver by far will be playing the whole year hurt??
Fiore had chronic knee problems and was cut on almost every offseason, you can't really compare him to Thomas who hasn't had any major injury problems.

Welcome, my brother! :biggthump
Big C:
Strahan had a down year for him last year. And the reason I am not falling all over myself about the addition of Griffen is that he played pretty miserably last year. He also has a reputation for "taking plays off" but it seems that he doesn't tell anyone when he's going to do that. Last year, he watched a LOT of RBs stroll through the middle of the Giants' D-line so that the LBs and backs could make the tackle. I'd have to check this out, but I thought that Hamilton was hurt for about half the season; whatever.
The Giants' D-line was hardly their strong suit last year. Maybe I exaggerated when I said they were as bad as the Skins' D-line from last year which was just piss-pot-poor. But the Giants' D-line is a major reason that Barrow got as many tackles as he did. He did not get 50 of those tackles on the offensive side of the line of scrimmage!
SC,
Strahan had 18.5 sacks and 61 tackles last year. If that was a down year I'd hate to see what he can really do.
