The whole timeline and how his character is developing is what makes the show great along with the comiv relief house provides for the more serious stuff. The ending definately left me wanting more. My wife loved Bones from the start, it took me a while to get to the point where I liked it, still I think I tolerate it at this point. He is a jaded, self destructive, bitter man with a wit unmatched on TV. His one-liners are hysterical and the main arcs of the show are actually damn compelling. The weekly "solve the case" stuff is good filler but the quality of the show is his character and his character alone. I like TV a lot. Big fan of tons of shows from different eras so I feel like I have some perspective. I think House's character is one of the top 10 TV characters of all time. Not in terms of likability but in terms of orginality, writing and acting. hooskins 05-22-2008, 04:03 AM My girl and I watch it together. Sometimes you gotta make sacrifices like that...for the greater good. Plus, one of the girls on the show is from my 'hood. So it's cool to see her doing well. 30 Rock and Lost are my favorites though Fair enough, wasn't trying to call you out. Surprised you admit you watch it, but I have watched some embarrassing shows for girlfriends past.
