The Redskins have signed rookie safety Kareem Moore (http://www.redskins.com/news/newsDetail.jsp?id=5869), the team announced on Friday. Moore was one of three sixth-round picks by the Redskins in last April's NFL Draft.

cool, he sounds like he could have a future here. so long as his knee has fully recovered by preseason.
He's got a lot of competition.

Assuming health, he could be good competition for Doughty. He's got better speed and size than Doughty. We'll see if he's got the same nose for the ball and whether he can tackle and take angles well.

Skins Insider also reports that John Eubanks has been cut. Could this really spell the end of the eubanks era? Even after CP lobbied for him in 06!

I can't remember if rookie signing are a guarantee that a guy will make the team. Of course there are no guarantees in the NFL but, is this a clear indication that the coaches see enough potential to make other cuts or moves.

no more an indication than the fact that we drafted him. only thing more that this would really signify is that the team has seen enough to know they want to see more. the prompt signing ensure's that he will be in training camp on time and they will have all of camp/pre-season to continue evaluating him.

I hope he's good. We really need a good safety to complement Landry right now
