I think the Celtics game four come back should be in the voting as well.

I have to say the SB. I like Tiger but have Tiger burn out " Thanks announcers". Not into either of the tennis players so the match was not of big interest. I will say what I did see it was some of the best tennis played for some time. I don't like basketball.

NOT!!! J/k I'm a Lakers fan.:(

I would have to go with the Super Bowl If the Pat's had won that game they would have gone down as probably the best team ever. I hate all the front runner Pat's fans that say they’ve always loved the Patriots. They must have all been born in the last 8 yr's because I sure don't remember them growing up.
So for me it was one of the only days in my life I let myself cheer for the Giants just to spite all the front runners that go to my local sports bar.

Funny!

I grew up in RI and there were no Pats fans then. All my friends liked the Giants. the Pats even to this day in New England sports is a third horse to the Red Sox and the Celtics, I would even argue a fourth horse to the Bruins (if the Bruins were doing anything).

It's got to be a tie between the Wimbleton and the US Open. They were both great. And the NFL Superbowl wasn't far behind, either.

Since Champs League final wasn't up there ;), I went with the Super Bowl. I caught part of the Wimbledon match, and while Epic, my problem is that those 2 have been the Top 2 Men in Tennis for awhile now and nothing short of their performance would have captivated an audience.

Meanwhile, you have a team with a shot at destiny, a shot at Best NFL Team ever, and they lose to a team that had a ton of heart.

I went with because the guy had a torn ACL and stress fractures in his leg that left unable to walk up until a couple days before the event. All the options were great but in the end Tiger's will be the one I remember when I am old.

I voted for the US Open because I think it has the most historical significance. There is a good chance that in 50 years it will be talked about as one of the greatest athletes ever's signature win. But wow, what a year its been. It is really hard to argue with any of those choices. I am still mad at myself for talking myself into sleeping through the Wimbledon Final because, I had incorrectly told myself, tennis is boring.
