It used to have a way different flavor -- I thought maybe the ones you drink on the JMU drunk bus just tasted great! BDBohnzie 07-14-2008, 01:41 PM There was a local bar here in Frederick that used to have $2 22oz Rolling Rock Bottles on Thursday nights...so we used to go and buy those because Rolling Rock was a decent beer and $2 for virtually 2 beers was a good bargain. Once A-B bought RR, the 22oz bottles were phased out, and I tried RR just one time after they moved production to New Jersey and it wasn't the same. I'm guessing it has to do with the water used...but who knows. I used to drink Coors Light but with the price going up every year l switched to that. 12.99 is what I pay for it most of the time plus i get 6 more free since it is a 30 pack. That's their loss, the NFL will fill those spots without any trouble. I will say this though, Budweiser SB commercials are always entertaining.
