"Mr. Buster, where the f--- you at? Can't scrap or lick, so I know you got yo gat." Hilarious.
Schneed pointed this out already, but switching the source of energy production from fossil fuels to renewables means Gore can keep his house and still be green. So his energy consumption has nothing to do with this conversation. Pointing out that Gore's energy consumption is higher than usual, while usually a somewhat dishonest attempt to obfuscate an important issue, is in this case completely irrelevant.
And I love how you respect buster enough to call him Mr. but Gore is just Al. I mean, I don't care about the latter but you are seriously killing me with the Mr. Buster.
Interesting........you seem to be a little.............sensitive on the Al issue? To much caffeine....or truth?

You just dropped too much truth on me MR. Hog, and I lost my mind.
And what is the Al issue? The fact that there is a so called "Al issue" is what's wrong with this thread, imo.

You guys make it sound like Gore is burning barrels of oil in his yard. He lives in a mansion, which uses more electricity than a not-mansion. He's not riding around the country on a coal-powered bicycle, OK?
And Jsarno, you are confused about what we are discussing. This isn't about Gore reducing his home's dependence on fossil fuels - which means nothing more than the symbolic - it's about America completely changing its infrastructure, for both security and environmental reasons. So when you question whether or not Gore has done "it" yet, I question if you understand what we are talking about here, because that response makes no sense to me.
No Gore and his wife own several very, very large homes, a private jet, a fleet of large cars etc... ect... He needs to start at home and then start preacing to us and what we should do in our lives. I don't have a problem with what he says only with how he does not even follow his own advise.

I really don't care who the message comes from to be honest. I only wish that Bush would step up and say these sort of things.

If Bush was doing the same thing? You mean living like a rich person? He is. He does. I've never heard anyone anywhere criticize Bush for his carbon footprint. Being a great leader is about having an aggressive vision for a better future and articulating it, and sometimes asking the public to make sacrifices and changes in the name of what's right. Bush hasn't done that, and that's the problem.

Bush is not the person who says the world is coming to an end thats Gore so he is not being hipocritical which was my point.
