I had a hell of a time passing with JC last year unless I ran a lot and did a lot of play action. I won a lot of games with them, but couldnt open up an offense like i can in ncaa.
(btw in ncaa georgia bulldogs are beast. I cant catch a break with wvu, even though i like playing with noel divine... but georgia can't be stopped...)
The Skins in Madden are looking pretty good this year. I always like to mix in 2 TE sets and with Davis on board I'm all set.

Florida is pretty tough too, although not as good on D as Georgia. Tebow is tough to stop.

From what I've read the secondary will cover much better, particularly downfield this year.
Will all secondaries cover better this year, or just ours? Frankly, that's one of my biggest gripes with Madden; it's easy to pass for 400 yards on any defense and it's easy to get passed on for 400 yards with any defense. I'm tired of having the 1st ranked run defense and a piss poor pass defense (even when I have top-notch DBs).

SGG you are so right! It is still a simulation of the game football and when you really think about it you have very little control of all aspects of the game (which I know is impossible).
I have said this before but this year I am not buying, I am using the sixty dollars on a diffrent game. I am sick of playing half way through a season (usually this happens around mid August) and saying to myself how is this diffrent then last years version.

Seriously, I have a Bears franchise where I blew up a lot of the team and drafted a QB, but the biggest move I made was signing Bo Scaife as my 2nd TE. I run the play action, boot leg a lot where the 2nd TE comes across the middle, that play is my bread and butter on 3rd and longs.
Btw, what level does everyone play on? I play All-Pro and occasionally All Madden, but I haven't found it at all easy to pass in that game. I am getting pretty good at it, but I do throw an unusually high number of picks. Mostly I rely on the running game and don't plan on throwing for more than 150+ with a few TD's and a pick or less.
I play on all-pro, call me a wuss but all madden is just ridiculous and not much fun

I tried it some, I threw way too many picks! I can't keep changing my passing style every time I move up in that game...it seems like on All-Madden if you don't already have a beast QB you're pretty much screwed.

Same here.
Rookie is ridiculous too, scoring 200 points is only fun if you're playing against Dallas.

Yeah the last time I tried a season on all-madden in the first game I threw 3 picks on 3 straight drives. The final straw was when a LB who wasn't even facing the line of scrimmage jumped sky high to make a pick over the middle. Straight up cheese.
