The problem with private transportation is...the Skins aren't willing to kick money in to make it affordable for the fans. I'd pay 10 bucks for a ride, knowing I didn't pay $50 to park at the stadium.
Giantone - the big rumor is that once the old RFK is leveled (after DC United gets their new digs...which I think the new location might be one of the RFK lots if they don't go to Poplar Point), the city would approach Snyder about building a 100k+ retractable roof stadium. However, the city is still paying for the debauchery that is the Washington Nationals, so I guess it's a crapshoot at best.

I still question Synder's thinking - why he put our stadium all the way the hell out there...
He didn't.

Here's a question..
Does this affect the shuttles from the cash lots?

New Rules Affect FedExField Shuttles (http://www.redskins.com/news/newsDetail.jsp?id=37483)
The Redskins will continue to provide free shuttle service from cash parking lots. Directions to those lots and other information are available by calling the Redskins ticket office at 301-276-6050 or by visiting the Parking page (http://www.redskins.com/tickets/article.jsp?id=37485) on Redskins.com.

Geez, your right! I'm sorry. When it said Private Companies I figured it was Corporate America. But, your right. The Bush administration is involved in this too...............................Hey! Maybe Bush did this to get back at us Washingtonians for booing him when he threw out the first pitch of the season? Just a thought...............................:)

You're probably right.
I guess I understand why local bus companies we're miffed that Tax Payer supported operations were competeing with them for contracts but sometimes they just need to get over it. This is crap. 6 to 20?

It's gonna suck using the Morgan Boulevard station now if I get the opportunity to go to a game this year. In years past those trains were always packed, now I can't imagine just how packed they really are going to be. Lucky for me I'll be able to grab a seat because I get on the train at the very beginning at the Franconia-Springfield station.
