Zero chance on Powell. I have read rumblings that he's a closet Obama supporter. I am guessing we'll hear zippy from him anytime soon or he'll come in favor of BO.

a good safe pick for obama...foreign policy experience is something he really lacks and biden gives him that to some extent. Mccain is really going to have to really pick a good running mate. Here's food for thought....not to sound like a racist or a feminist...but if i am mccain i approach condoleeza rice to be my running mate. you gotta shake things up once in a while and naming rice as his running mate would shock the world.

when i started thinking about it sounded good but that might be more ammo for the 4 more years of bush theory. I hate to say this but yet again we dont have the best of candidates to choose from yet again. I have felt this way the last 3 presidential elections. Its like choosing the lesser of two evils.

I think Biden has always been a good guy with respect to democratic issues and I believe Obama and Biden share core principles. I really like the pick though Biden is irreplaceable in the senate.

For the Democratic caucus and the state of Delaware he's a powerhouse senator. A 30 Year senator who voted against the war is irreplaceable. You can toss in Ted Kennedy and Robert Byrd in that category too. These are folks that don't have to cover their own asses like most senators for political gains (i.e. Hillary).

So if you have power and can take pork spending to the next level then its OK with you. I believe that all these guys need to go and not make a career out of waisting tax payers money and building power off my tax money. I'm not just talking about Dems here I'm talking all. Byrd is a great example of a man who spent way to much time in Washington waisting my money for his pork projects which made him powerful.

Well when your platform is change and you bring in one of the biggest pork barrell spenders then thats not change. Pointing out experience v/s no experience and that kind of stuff is how elections go and is done by both parties. Its no different then the Dem's associating McCain to Bush and saying just another 4 years of Bush. Whats the deal with you saying Republicans the ultimate haters? I guess you don't read some of your own post and read what you say about Republcans or maybe the aproach of personal attacks from the left is how things go.

As for my comment on Republicans, I stand by it. I'm sorry but the Republican as I see it is guns, gays, greed and god. That is to say, I whole heartedly believe it to be complete trash. A used tampon is less odious.
