Great call and impeccable execution. Now I wonder if that quick slant is something we can mix up a bit. At some point the DB on Moss will start to cheat to cut off the slant (probably after we've run it once or twice). What do guys think of Moss starting the slant but then cutting back toward the sideline as JC floats a pass over the head of the DB and into the arms of Moss'? I can see this play over and over in my head.
If it's executed correctly and the DB is caught cheating the rest of the sideline will be wide open for Moss to scamper to the endzone. No way in hell will the safety catch him.

Excellent call and execution.
You know what else was an incredible call? Campbell calling an audible and having Betts pick up the blitz on the TD pass to Moss. Anytime you're actually asking Betts to block...that's incredibly ballsy (even though Chris Cooley had nothing to do with it :) )
Seriously though, what an awesome win. Let's keep the momentum going

And it was on a quick count. Half the team didn't move. The play was over before the LB's were set and ready to go.

very gutsy play call. the quick count sealed it. zorn showed alot of confidence in JC to go for it on 4th down. lets hope we can continue to build on what we saw yesterday.

I thought that one play was thread worthy. Tell me you didn't love that call and execution.
I didn't love the call and execution.
I love the fact that we got a coach willing to make the call, and the players to execute it.

100% loved it. In the past few years we'd have run it even though there is no clock difference between running and throwing. Hell we'd have probably kicked a field goal, or tired, and porentially give them the ball in good field position. I loved the confidence. There never seemed like any question.

Gutsy play.
I'm glad Zorn went out trying to win the game instead of not trying to lose it.
Exactly. Brilliant point.

there's no way that call is made with JG calling the shots, just not his style.

I agree, gutsy call...but he really had only two options for that... either go for it (and worst case they would have had the ball at the 35, and the clock would have stopped weather we missed or punted)..or punt..no way would I have put Shisuham out there for a long FG attempt....I'm very glad Zorn went for that, very happy to see us grab a win..instead of coming all the way back just to put it in the Saints hands.
