Redskins vs. Cardinals predictionsCRedskinsRule 09-19-2008, 11:43 AM Enough of the bickering. Hug it out bitches. Hugs all around, Love our Skins man:headbange Gmanc711 09-19-2008, 11:51 AM This is a tough game to call, I dont know how good the Cardinals are, and I think we'll find out this week. Not saying were an "Elite" NFL team or anything, but were are much better that Miami or San Fransisco.... I think it will be close, just like last year...they have a lot of weapons on both sides of the ball. I think they will give us some trouble defensivley...but I love how our defense has played really for the last 7 quarters. I think the Skins' win this game, say 24-14....but I wouldnt be shocked in the slightest if Arizona pulls one out either. Maybe its the year they actually are a little good. Really tough call. I will say though, I think this is a must win....with trips to Dallas and Philly...even if we come out of the first five game stretch at 2-3, thats not terrible. If we can win this week than steal one of the next two, I'm happier than a pig in shit. gibbsisgod 09-19-2008, 12:43 PM It's pretty well-known that when the oddsmakers are setting the odds for each game, one of the things they automatically do is give the home team -3 off the bat for the home field advantage. -3 isn't necessarily a PICK EM game, but what it means is that besides the home field, the oddsmakers are looking at this game as very even keeled game. No distinct advantage for either team, besides the home field.I might add that the odds makers make a line to ensure maximum betting action not on who they believe will win. The line could actually change right up until kickoff if they believe it could draw more betting action. Last week I think the odds were at Pick 'em until gameday when it went to skins -1. They did this only for betting purposes, not because they thought the Skins were less likely to win. Monkeydad 09-19-2008, 01:00 PM 92-4 :) GMScud 09-19-2008, 01:09 PM Redskins 27 Cardinals 17 I look in my crystal ball and I see Kurt Warner getting sack and I see Kurt Warner fumbling the ball and I see someone in a white jersey running it back for a touchdown. I was actually thinking that last night. I smell a defensive TD coming soon... over the mountain 09-19-2008, 01:16 PM just got a glimpse of the back of that white jersey as he was walking it in and it had TAYLOR on the back . . . yeah my crystal ball comes with HD!!! go skins!! horse 09-19-2008, 01:18 PM Skins 21 Cards 24 The Cardinals owe us after that close loss last season. In the end they have too much fire power to go with veteran QB play. Our offense will look sluggish at first, but still manage 3 TD's. It will not be enough though. They have the same fire power and same qb as when we beat them last year, And I believe we've improved more than they have. Besides the EA simulation has us winning 37-6 so we must win. TheMalcolmConnection 09-19-2008, 01:20 PM Warner could hurt us if he has time. With that said, I don't think he'll have much time at all with Taylor and Carter. I keep hearing how "improved" the Cards D is this year. My reaction to that is 1.) look at who they've played so far and 2.) of course their D is improved. They haven't exactly been a powerhouse over the last say...80+ years (or however old they are). ANYTHING is an improvement! My prediction? PAIN! (Clubber Lang, Rocky III). Skins 31 Cards 21 That's MY line! SkinzzFan 09-19-2008, 01:26 PM That's MY line! LOL...my bad, I had no idea. I'll be more careful with movie quotes in the future! HAIL!! Lotus 09-19-2008, 01:47 PM Skins 27, Cards 21 Cards offense has a few big plays. But the Skins defense gets to Warner, causes mistakes, and scores a touchdown. The Skins running game does the rest. |
