When the regular season opened Sept. 4, the Redskins didn't look completely ready for prime time.

First-year coach Jim Zorn was making his debut as a playcaller. Quarterback Jason Campbell (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=8440) wasn't crisp making his reads and running the offense. The offensive line struggled. Of course, the Redskins were going against the Super Bowl champion Giants, whose defense can make a lot of offenses look offensive.

According to the USA Today power rankings, the Cowboys, Giants and Eagles are ranked 1, 2, and 3. The Redskins are ranked 12th. That makes the NFC East the best conference in football. It would be very interesting to see how up the Skins can go if they upset the Girls.

I agree with everyone else that the Cowpokes and Iggles are two top elite teams, but why is everyone praising the Giants??!! They played a mediocre-at-best game against us where home field advantage was HUGE, they beat up the Rams, and then they almost lost to the f'ing Bengals?? I'm one to hate when ppl say "oh they beat the teams that they should be beaten", but the Giants almost lost to a team they should have beaten soundly, and nothing that they've done screams to me that they are a top 5 team.

I totally agree i think the Giants are listed so high since they haven't lost since the Superbowl. I guess they deserve it but in my opinion I don't think they should be that high at all. Absolutely agree with you

We're on the outside looking in. John Clayton (captain obvious) is right, if we get the better against our division we will be among the nfl elite.
