Doesn't matter. The rule says as an "in-eligible" player, you can only be one yard past the line of scrimmage when the ball is thrown on a pass play.
It was the right call, but I don't blame Rabach too much for that one. The holding call against him was kinda iffy too.
True, it just looked as if his forward progress while blocking his defender took him just a little beyond the line of scrimmage (maybe two yards at worst). Technically, yes, he was guilty, but it did not affect the play overall in terms of advancing the play.

What are Cooley's stats? He's been great too.

I don't know if they've updated since the game but according to NFL.com 17 catches for 179 yards 0 TD's. Which isn't bad, but its certainly not as impressive. I will say though, his blocking has improved substantially in the past three weeks since smoked in NY.

I'm really enjoying this victory, watch all the sport shows/channels start jumping on the badwagon
Yeah I hear you on that. Here come the "Team to beat", "Cinderella Story", and the "I never thought I would say this...." shows on ESPN, NFL Network, and everywhere else. I really wish they would wait a couple more weeks to start it though.

How 'bout them Miami U boys? Gotta give some love to Rocky too- worked hard in the offseason to rehab and now he's all over the place.

I also like the way Randle El is getting involved.
Jim Zorn is utilizing the wideouts like we haven't seen since 2005. He's finding the ways to turn them into true playmakers.

You know there's probably some rocket science to figuring this out and I'm probably doing it all wrong but I'll give it a go: At this pace if they keep their numbers and catch's/carries up Campbell will have 3512 yrds passing and 24 TD's for the yr, Portis will have 344 carries for 1476 yrds and 12 TD's, Moss will have 108 attempts for 1684 yrds and 12 TD's. All I did was multiply the stats they had for 4 games by 4 for the full 16 games stats. They may do better or worse baring injuries and teams shutting them down during games.
I hope I did this right and didn't make a fool of myself. LOL. Imagine 24 TD's between Moss and Portis alone by yrs end. WOW. not mentioning other players getting TD's also.

You're doing it right. Wanna know an even easier way? ESPN player profiles give stat projections. Check it out.
