we all know when it comes down to it,all the teams are gonna play each other really close almost every time.i don't care what any of the so called"analysts" on tv say,the nfc east is the best damn divison in the league and i see it staying that way for awhile.

i stayed up and wathced the whole game. it was a good game until Eli threw that pick 6. Glad they lost. Kinda looks like Eli is back to his old self(throwing picks, fading back while throwing).
He was awful last night, but he is not the same QB as he was a year ago. He'll be fine for next week against San Fran.
As for the game itself, poor QB play+no pass rush=loss.
2 plays that changed the game were the 70 yarder to Edwards after Giants went up 7-3. Browns had playeed really well, and were still losing. They shut them down on that series, the crowd would have soured and the Giants would have got the motors running and blown them out.
The other play was the 2nd Eli INT. Just cut the lead before half. Get tha ball to start the 3rd quarter, which is the best time for the road team. Have a chance to take the lead, crowd was ready to crumble and Eli brought them right back into it.
The last INT wasn't a game changer, imo. By that time, the game was over. Even if they score, I do not think the D would have held Cleveland to give the O a chance.

Something good about the Giants loss besides the Skins not falling farther behind in the standings: the Giants look a whole lot more human now. The were undefeated defending champs and looked like a juggernaut. Now they look a lot more beatable. They're still really good but much less intimidating.Every now and then a good kick in the pants does more good than harm. Gives you a reality check and reminds a team that you are never as good as you seem to be when you win a lopsided game (seattle). Let them get back to work this week and get ready for San Fran. Schedule gets very tough beginning the 26th in Pittsburgh. I am willing to bet that no one will be walking around at Giants practice tomorrow with any kind of arrogance.

Eli is Eli,he has games like this ....not all the time but he does and as a Giant fan I must live with it.What will tell if the Giants are for real is how they handel this,I will say that the D was as bad as Eli was.
I really don't think there are alot of Redskin fans or Giant fans that really expected either team to go 16-0,both will lose other games ....as will the Cowpukes and the Eaglets,it's early yet.:twocents:

What happened to Winslow that he was in the hospital? They said last night on MNF that it was not disclosed at his request. I'm thinking hep C.

Winslow really has not had much luck since he entered the league. I would almost consider him a bit of a bust IMHO.

Note to the Redskins: Do not overlook the Browns!! They showed they can play and are not afraid to step it up.

Winslow went #6 in the 2004 draft. We chose Sean Taylor at pick 5. Many draft pundits had us picking Winslow. We did well with that one.
