redskin season tickets

just got a letter in the mail from the skins. it says that if i send them $100.00, i will receive a seat assignment in may 2009. does this mean im guaranteed season tickets? if so, anyone have any idea what they cost? and can i get a parking pass? sorry to seem so ignorant about it all, but am very excited to finally be a season ticket holder. it seems like i've been waiting forever

Well figure about $65 to $75 per game per ticket including preseason games which you have to buy. Last year there was a 3 to 4 year waiting list for Parking passes but I found a guy selling them at around $40.00 before each game out side of the gates. You also have around $100.00 per seat additional cost built into the price so your looking around $850.00 per seat per game. That unless you get lucky and get something lower level but I would not count on that as current season ticket holder get those first. I had 4 season tickets and gave them up this year because I lost around $520 just on the preason tickets alone. I figured it was just cheaper to buy tickets on stub hub or Craigs list for the few games i do attend each year.

I got 3 letters (somehow I got on the list 3 times) asking for my deposit, but unfortunately, with daughter #2 coming in December, we don't have the money right now...

My wife's stepdad waited 20 years (first 10 years he thought he was on the list, and wasn't) and when he got the letter, they had some financial hardship and couldn't afford them.

I still do my best to make one game a year, whether it be pre or regular season...

You should probably call the number given on the sheet before you dish out 100.

Also I remember when the Skins were giving season tix to everyone because they were expensive booth seats that came with tailgate passes etc, stuff that most people dont need.
