The first one was one of my absolute favorite games of all time. I'm too busy to play games that take like 40 hours to beat. I like a nice tight 8-10 hour game like COD4, GOW, or Bioshock. That's the reason I passed on Mass Effect and Oblivion, why I never finished GTA4, and also why I'm reluctant to take the plunge on Fallout. So I'll probably end up going with Gears. Looks amazing.

Yeah I agree. I like a game that I can play through in a reasonable amount of time. Back in the day I loved games like Zelda that went on forever, now I just lose interest.

Fallout 3 looks really tempting but may cause a divorce. Right now I am trying to finish the Dark Tower series by King. I am on book five about 2000 plus pages to go. IT is a great story if you ever get the chance.

GOW 2 is a definite must have.
