obama has narrowed the gap in VA. that's surprising.
If I'm not mistaken it was mostly the southern, less populated precincts that reported early. Obama was expected to close the gap as they counted votes from the communist sections of the state.

VA looks like it's gonna go to Obama. 26% if Fairfax county reported and most of the red counties stand at almost 100%.

I'm at work right now so I can't watch TV, but it seems like it's pretty much over right? Since Obama won Ohio and doesn't appear to be losing any of the states Kerry carried in 04, is there any scenario in which McCain could still win? Even if Florida, VA, NC, and NV all go red, it seems McCain would still be down. Are they talking about this?

It looks like first generation tech...comparing it to star trek / star wars tech is sacrilege.

McCain still could win, but I doubt it. Obama more or less has it once California comes in.
