I wish the entire focus was now on moving forward with the Obama administration (starting with the selection of his staff, including his transition team). I get that there will still be talk about McCain, Palin, the campaign but I don't know that we here need to be proactive in continuing to discuss all that.
Yeah, I wish the same things on a national scale as well, but it's not happening there either as I was trying to point out.
But for the greater good of society I guess The Warpath should set the example and discontinue any talk about this.

The reason that she won't go away is because of people like mredskins.
If guys at a network do stories about pretty women doing a car wash for charity, it becomes pretty obvious that they were not following the story because of their charitable efforts. It's because guys like looking at women.
When they do a story about a pretty woman who was almost VP, they can cover up their perversion a little easier, but in the end they still just want to follow a pretty face.
All the while, most women don't care because they are actually buying into the Pro Women propaganda. Meanwhile men are still being sexist pigs staring at the television set.
The crazy thing is that these days full on visual adult entertainment are free. Stories like these should not be taking place.

Wouldn't you want to respond to attacks and allegations against you? I would hope so.
Why is this even a big deal? Everyone wants to get her side of the story, and I'm sure she want to give her side of the story. She's been the focus of the media over the last week since the election. There's nothing wrong w/ defending yourself a little, right?

Count me out of the everyone crowd. Her 15 minutes are up, time to go home.

Mark Foley is in the news again (http://sg.news.yahoo.com/ap/20081112/twl-disgraced-ex-congressman-1be00ca.html). Why isn't anyone talking about it?

It's not that big a deal. We're a "here and now" society. She just finished being a part of one of the most historic presidential races of all time. I think a lot of people, even those who have chosen to displace all of their life's frustrations onto her, may want to know just a bit more before she fades away and a new face is presented before us. It's her perogative to stay in the spotlight as long as it's pointing towards her.

Some people should just know when to shut up and let stories fad away.
