F... Finals.Daseal 12-08-2008, 09:45 AM NP dude, toss me a PM when you have some free time -- I'll give you a quick tutorial. saden1 12-08-2008, 01:03 PM So, how is the paper coming along? You gonna let us read it? dmek25 12-08-2008, 01:45 PM school is alot easier then work. enjoy your youth Daseal 12-08-2008, 01:56 PM Dmek -- I disagree. I enjoy working, same routine every day more or less, same people. A job you hate is probably worse than school, but a job you even somewhat enjoy is far better. You bring home a check every couple weeks, you work for 8 hours a day, then in most cases you're DONE. Once you leave, it's all your time to do as you wish. I can hardly wait! Provided I can find a job in this economy =p cpayne5 12-08-2008, 03:11 PM school is alot easier then work. enjoy your youth No way. A bad day at work is way better than a good day at school. dmek25 12-08-2008, 04:04 PM whats more pressure? making sure your family has food, or getting a passing grade on a mid term? Daseal 12-08-2008, 04:10 PM Dmek -- That's taking things to extremes. I'd say a passing grade is a midterm is more pressure for most people. Most people with jobs can at least provide food for their families. MTK 12-08-2008, 04:14 PM If I could do it over, give me college and those 2-3 classes a day over working 8 hours a day. College was a breeze, and of course the social scene was pretty nice too. mredskins 12-08-2008, 04:44 PM finals week, working is better any other time in college, college is better with that said.. A job could be easier then college simply becuse most jobs it is the same thing day in and day out once you master your job you are pretty much on cruise control. I ncollege your "work" is always changing and you are being tested on how well you do that "work" DynamiteRave 12-09-2008, 03:53 AM If I had to choose between working a register for 8 hours or writing an 8-10 page paper on the Nio Guardian figures and why/how they fit into the Japanese Kamakura Style of art and comparing and contrasting them with other works from the period... ... Hand me the register. |
