Once kickers lose their mojo they rarely gain it back (ask Mike Vanderjagt.)

Get rid of him, anyone can miss kicks.

Suisham had mojo? Who did he play for then?

I was thinking Colt should play RT and LT at the same time.

Damn you for doubting Colt's abilities. I've followed him since he was in utero and he is capable of simultaneously playing all 5 offensive line positions......kneeling down......while asleep.

at the beginning of this year and the beginning of last year he was confident and making kicks

I actually agree. Unless Suisham is injured, he needs to be cut. If he is injured, he needs to be placed on IR so we can sign another guy.

Who do we pickup??? I don't see who is out there. I rather stick with Shaun for this year and see if he picks it up.

If there's an improvement out there, fine sign him up and cut Suisham.

But looking back we might we probably should have just held on to Brooks at punter. Plackemeier blows.

So with Suisham, I just don't see the point right now. Ride him out and reevaluate things in the offseason.

Maybe we can draft one in the 6th.

Releasing Suisham does nothing. We have no idea of knowing how close he is to breaking through his mental block. No kicker is immune to these things. Today, the one he missed was from 48, so it's possible he might have missed it anyway even if he was "feelin it".

If you cut Suisham, and bring in the next guy, you haven't solved anything. FG kicking is unreliable by nature, and we should be going for it when at all possible.

Which is not to be saying that we should be turning a blind eye to a kicker upgrade, but if you cut Suisham before you know for sure that someone else who is more established is available, you're likely just going to downgrade at the position. See: Plackemeier, Ryan.
