He's 31. Not sure I would want to invest a big money deal in him after all. SmootSmack 01-15-2009, 09:41 AM Speaking of Housh, I didn't realize he is as old as he his. He's 31. Yeah, a lot of people seem to forget that Bill B 01-15-2009, 09:41 AM Maybe we will get him! haha Yeah - I thought I would see the dreaded "lets sign him for the vet minimum" post by now. 44ever 01-15-2009, 09:46 AM Dallas would be wise to cut ties with his moron asap, if they can swing it with the cap of course. I personally like TO. I think his talent is amazing. I also think he has matured tremendously over the last couple of years. He has some probs no doubt but I think it's a big mistake for Cowboys to cut him. I think he adds balance and excitment to the league. If anything they should release Romo. He has moments of greatness but... I realize this is an unpopular statement. Hog1 01-15-2009, 09:53 AM I personally like TO. I think his talent is amazing. I think your drunk...balance, matured? 44ever 01-15-2009, 09:58 AM I think your drunk...balance, matured? Hog, what has he done this season that deserves release? As hard as it is to find a QB in this league?...Right after his pro bowl season?...You'd have to release every QB under those pretenses. I hate the guy and it makes me sick to come to his defense but you're definitely off here. SmootSmack 01-15-2009, 10:14 AM I personally like TO. I think his talent is amazing. TO is a hard dude to figure out. Behind closed doors, teammates usually say he's a hard worker and a good teammate and presence in the locker room. But when that cameras rolling it's all about TO. He's sort of like Michael Westbrook in that regard, except no one really liked Westbrook. I don't know if it's due to his injury, but I was not really that impressed with Romo this year. Still, I don't think they should release him. They should bring in a decent young backup QB though. Hog1 01-15-2009, 10:15 AM Hog, what has he done this season that deserves release? In all honesty (or at least as honest as I can be) He IS talented, and if you look at numbers, he's still got it. What is it 8/10 TD's 800+ yards, etc. It is the CONSTANT turmoil that is always in the wings if not on the front burner. "Romo throws to his friend Jason Witten, and not me". "We all know how it is, if we throw to me, we win, if not we lose" Sideline rampages....... It's the constant NON-TEAM BS that sucks the life force out of a team and pulls the focus away from what is important. HOWEVER< it's really Jerra's fault for orchestrating the current power set-up, and allowing T.O. to do what he does. |
