They make alot of cash and weren't exactly setting the league on fire last year. Seems like they could find a way to get there for the first day... Besides conditioning, isn't there route running and such at these things too?? The obligation to showing up to these mini-camps is similar to showing up to your office's Christmas party. Do you really want to go?...No, but unless you have other plans you kind of obligate yourself so you don't look like an ungrateful ass. Let's treat them like any co-worker who didn't show up to that party and not tell them about the Christmas bonus checks that were passed out. Portis didn't chew out any coaches, so he's not going to get any pub. The Goat 03-17-2009, 07:48 PM Kelly's knee problems scare the hell outta me. Season ended for us 14 weeks ago and he's still not running evidently... can someone explain the history a bit here. Did Kelly miss a lot of time in college from this or did his knees start to deteriorate (rapidly) just as his pro career started?
