By the way, did anyone notice that even though Portis fumbled twice, he was still heavily involved with the game even if he wasn't getting touches. He had two de-cleating blocks that I can recall.

Yes, he caught a TD and had another pass he dropped that would have continued our drive. The Giants was talking a lot of smack. And I think it got to Portis a little. I think Portis owes us next week. The O line is not responsible for his fumbles.

I did notice that. The commentaros also noticed that, and said that he was proboly trying to hustle to make up for some of his other mistakes. They aslo said it was nice to see a 50 million dollar man still hustling all over the feild. I mean I'm not happy with his performance, but that defintley made up for some of the mistakes he made. He's not going to fumble like that a ton of the time. We cant give up on him either. He's the type of back that will go 4, 3 , 4 , 6 , then break one big. In any event it was nice to see him still hustling, it can change the course of a game ( ala Coles last year vs Seattle ) and almost did today.

I'm not saying that they played great, but I put the TOs squarely on our skill players. Brunell and Portis gave NY their points, and Ramsey sealed the game.

obviously the QBs never felt comfortable. they both played rattled after the first drive. Portis never saw daylight, without a lead blocker or some linemen down field he literally ran into walls.

If you fumble like Portis did you better hell as do something to help the team like blocking........ big deal I don't go for the smack got to him causing him to make mistakes...come on-- the man heard smack in college and while he played for Denver.....

Harsh monk! ;) All I'm saying is that he didn't give up and that is why we had a chance at the end of the game.

Sorry Red...they are showing the Skins/Gints game on Prime Time and it got me all riled up again. I'm glad he did something to help his team, but he's still gonna hear it from the coaches when they check out the game film.............. Peace.

P.S. The Redskins lose, Cowboys win...and I just ai'nt happy right now, nothing personal :(

coles showed up... he only had one mistake... portis had a dropped pass and 2 fumbles, but still put up about 100 yards and a TD, and almost converted 3rd and 23... gardner dropped something like 7 passes he should have caught... i want to see mccants or jacobs (burner) tested out...

i know ramsey had 3 picks, but brunell gave up the points before hand, and couldn't throw a pass longer than 7 yards... THAT'S A PROBLEM, his arm strength sucks, just like it has in preseason (minus that great 63yarder to mccants).

right now neither QB really looks like an error free starter, and tims not the answer, so please, don't...

sean wasn't sharp, but he's a rookie... on D, we need a good DE or two, as well as a good coverage SS... bowen just isn't fast enough, or he makes bad reads...
