I have Mack ranked as my 4th best OLman, regardless of favored position:
1. Jason Smith
2. Michael Oher
3. Eugene Monroe
4. Alex Mack
5. Andre Smith
Those are the guys who have a top 20 grade on my draft board.

Hmm, what makes you like Oher so much? I'd be interested to know your breakdown of these top 5, and perhaps the next 2 or 3 on the list.

It would be absolutely great and immediately upgrade our O-line if we could trade down then get Mack and a T (Oher might be wishful thinking but maybe Britton?).. But once again, we would have to consider about LB situation

I agree & it sounds realistic at this point. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up not drafting a LB at all, or if they wait till 5th or 7th rounds to do so. As we've seen in recent years, the team will acquire multiple players at the same position group. If they felt it was a draft they could stock up on O line help I could see the first 2 or 3 picks being o line. A lot will depend on what they think of Blades, Wilson & getting a fa as a stop gap, hopefully M. Washington will be back.
We saw what happened when W. Holdman was well past his prime & we had to start him in 06. Certainly don't want to see a repeat of that, but the fact is this team is once again short of draft picks to really get quality players on day 1 to compete for starting jobs. If they have to sacrifice a position this year, I wouldn't mind seeing the defense given less priority. The offense really needs to have a good year, get JC a new contract & boost confidence in Zorn as coach & play caller.

Exactly my thoughts..

Didn't we use the first four picks on O in last year's draft?

With Haynesworth in there I could play linebacker. Plus there will be starting caliber linebackers available for us in round 3. The tackles on the other hand, at the least the ones capable of starting day 1 are all in the first and second round.

Yes, three premadonnas and an O-lineman that still needs more time to develop. What we really need help at is RT and C. Eventually RG as well.
