El Camino is near the top of my list for '11. I've been listening to it pretty much non-stop since it came out.
Radiohead, Foo Fighters, My Morning Jacket, Beastie Boys, and Wilco all put out quality releases this year.

K first from your list: Drive By Truckers Go-Go Boots was the album that grew on me the most...maybe their best release outside of the B sides release from 2009 and Bright Creation album. I cant scream it any louder, if you like loud rock n roll with a southern touch or a loud live show, get into this band. Wilco was better album than their recent. Hot Sauce pt 2, Beasties they cant do any wrong in my eyes.
Then your best you didnt review, PJ Harvey is genius, that album is great, makes me feel uncomfortable when i listen to it, so it must be good. Kurt Vile...dunno why people into him, kinda a bore. Fleet Foxes 2nd album was hugely disappointing, their debut maybe the best album in the last 10 years. Ive been done with Radiohead since they stop making rock album, but id still see them live if given the chance. The Antlers suck. I need to hear the Dawes album, heard great things and havent heard the new Black Keys yet, but will very soon.
My top 3: 1. The Black Lips - Arabia Mountain 2. Battles - Gloss Drop 3. Ghostface - Apollo Kids

thanks, solid feedback even if we disagree on some stuff. first few times i tried that Kurt Vile record (since everyone was raving about it) i was like "eh... kinda boring...." and then one day it hit me. same with The Antlers. weird.
DBT's, i still think Decoration Day and Dirty South are probably their "best" but i do like Creations Dark (tho kinda long) and that newest one.

Being a Waits fan, gotta hear the new one. 80s trilogy stuff is my favorite.
lol i said Creation bright...Dirty South good, Decoration heard bits and pieces, good too.

This is not usually my bread and butter music, but I've been listening to Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty for the last few hours because I like that sax solo.

I'm surprised to hear you say that about El Camino. I thought it was a bit of a let down myself.

Apparently this isn't a joke. Numbers along the X-Axis (the non-letters at the top of the picture) represent SAT scores.
