So, do you think the Lions get any "sympathy" in scheduling? Does their 0-16 season factor in at all?
It would be brutal for their fans to start at Chicago, at Pitt, Home for Baltimore and Minnesota.
Does anyone know how much of the schedule is done by people, and how much by computer formulas?
They'll have a last place schedule if that's what you're asking. But beyond that I doubt they'll give them any sympathy in making up the schedule.

No, they play all the teams I listed like I listed. They play the AFC North, so they have to face Pitt and Baltimore. My question was more the "sympathy factor". Since Smoot said it is done by people, not computers, I tend to think the 0-16 record would factor in at some level.

They don't get sympathy for being 0-16. Feelings aren't part of the equation.
