Wow I'm shocked? The richest conservative state in the country isn't happy that their oil buddies aren't running the show in Washington anymore(the same people who put us in this mess) and now they are threatening to secede when they don't like how the new government is trying to fix this awful mess. Good luck with that Texas.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAAH!!!I'm with you.

I'm I wrong in thinking that this thread no longer meets the Locker Room standards?
Not sure why it was there in the first place

The precedent is there, try to secede Texas. Watch what Abraham, i mean Barack, does next.

Secession was feasible during the Civil War era ...
Apparently not feasible enough.

LOL...so obvious and so funny. I believe the lesson learned is that once you join the Union you can never leave. The contract is perpetual and permanent.

Worse than the mafia, at least with the mafia you can join witness protection and go into hiding.

If we're talking pratically then yeah no chance this ever happens. Or is even attempted. It's just posturing anyways. If we are talking philosophically why can't Texas leave if they want?
