I'd say a start like a QC coach on that side and an assistant special teams coach would be great. He knows how to field both types of returns, he knows how to attack returns, etc.
I could see Thrash being a coach similar to Wayne Sevier or Pete Rodriguez. Why not let him work under Danny Smith for a while.

Great guy. I wish him luck in whatever he does. Hopefully it will include some job with the Redskins.

Why can't they bring him on board as an assistant and have him working with the Rookie WR's to get them up to speed. Meanwhile Hixon can spend more time with Moss, ARE, MK, and DT. I think if all our WR's were on the same page then Hixon could focus on adding more and more to the WR's and teaching them. Instead we have 4 on the same page cause they all learned the new offense together, then you have 5 more starting new having to learn the plays and routes. Marko Mitchell, R.Williams, Jaison Williams, Keith Eloi, and Haggens.

Thanks for the contributions, Thrash, but I am glad that his roster spot is open. He had no upside and we need some guys who can surprise opponents.

In Hixon's interview he seemed to indicate that Roydell Williams had the inside track to be the #5 guy. But I don't see that happening personally. The number 5 guy has to be a special teams baller, and that's not really Williams' forte.Probably going to keep six. I figured the Trent Shelton signing was to be Thrash's super special teamer replacement. My guess is that it's that spot that Marko Mitchell is competing for, not Roydell Williams'.

He was an example of where hard work will take you. Gibbs loved the guy which is a good enough endorsement for me. I would like to see him continue on with the organization.

I always liked JT. If the Skins "premier" receivers had as much desire, work ethic, and attention to detail as JT has the Skins would have a top flight receiving corps.

A great football player and loyal Redskin. A player who would have played any position the coach asked him to. I wish him and his family nothing but good luck and success. Hopefully he will be working for the NFL in some capacity at some point. Thanks JT.
