LOL. When I climbed Long's Peak (14K), there was a guy hiking in Birkenstock's. He kept explaining to everyone how they were the best hiking shoes. Needless to say, I ran into him during the descent and he had sprained his knee. My buddy and I always get a good laugh whenever Birkenstock's are mentioned.
Seems like a silly idea to me. For walking around on flat ground, they do me very well.

I guess we're not the only people who think Crocs are stupid. Looks like they're about done.

Wow. Isn't Bill Gates the largest, or one of the largest, shareholder of Crocs? Boy, with that and his investment in his investment in Six Flags...he must really be hurting :)
