Wasn't that a Bush senior saying? LOL.
Yes it was. Wouldn't be prudent at this juncture to mention more.

Several readers tell us (and Mike Reiss of the Boston Globe tweets) that Kraft told Sirius NFL Radio that it's not happening. The quote (possibly paraphrased) is as follows: "I feel we have the best player at the position in the world. Why would I want to sign a player that takes him off the field for a play?" Though Kraft's words don't take into account the possibility of another season-ending injury, multiple ACLs would have to tear before Vick would hit the Pats' radar screen. Well Kraft can say anything, but until Darth Hoodie says it so, this is still a possibility. Although Tavaris Jackson just got hurt (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp09/news/story?id=4371142), so I wonder if the Vikes would take a look at Vick now. skinsfan_nn 08-01-2009, 05:14 PM Well Kraft can say anything, but until Darth Hoodie says it so, this is still a possibility. Kraft can say anything and happens to be the BOSS! Yes, but after winning three Superbowl, Darth Hoody can do just about whatever the hell he wants in that team. Although seriously, going to the Pats would be the best situation for Vick. There would be very few criticism from the sports media, and well very few Boston sports fans would complain about this if Darth Hoody is behind the move. Well it seems now that the Vikes may be a place for Vick if Jackson's injury is pretty serious. skinsfan69 08-01-2009, 06:16 PM Jackson's injury was minor and they said he'd be back on the field next week. Vick should just go to the UFL. That's his best option to make money and get some game experience. skinsfan_nn 08-01-2009, 06:37 PM Jackson's injury was minor and they said he'd be back on the field next week. If anything the Farve word reemerges......again, and again, again.......until he's at least Jeff Georges age. I would have thought Vick the clown would have found a home by now. I'm on record with that statement. But the UFL would not be a bad move. And if there are no takers it might be his only move..? irish 08-02-2009, 11:06 AM Jackson's injury was minor and they said he'd be back on the field next week. Vick should just go to the UFL. From what I have read, Vick is reluctant to go to the UFL because he needs $ and he cant make much there. hooskins 08-02-2009, 11:10 AM From what I have read, Vick is reluctant to go to the UFL because he needs $ and he cant make much there. Really there wont be an owner willing to throw tons to be the poster boy of the UFL? They will sell a lot of seats that way. Actually I have no idea how the pay structure works in the UFL. irish 08-02-2009, 12:04 PM Really there wont be an owner willing to throw tons to be the poster boy of the UFL? I dont know how it works either but I heard Vick needs lots of $ fast and he isnst going to get lots of $ in the UFL. The UFL bills itself as a developmental league so I it seems like there wont be any big $ contracts. |
