I remember making mix tapes with cassettes. You know, the boom box with the double tape deck? Who would have imagined iTunes and playlists?

Nope. I was still making them in college. Had my Aiwa Mini stereo (http://novoimages.quebarato.com.br/photos/big/3/D/1E433D_1.jpg) hooked up to my computer (blew out the original speakers, and replaced them with a decent pair of JBL bookshelf speakers), would set up a Mp3 playlist in WinAMP and played it while recording to cassette, which I played in the car since my 1988 Honda Accord coupe still had a tape deck. Good times...

awww yeah been there done that a few times

I remember riding around in high school with my buddy who was rocking a Ford Pinto, broken stereo, boom box in hand, pumping out some Ratt or Def Leppard. LOL
