Might as well get Mitchell, Smokin AL, and take Andy Pollin while there at it. ChillWill 08-11-2009, 10:34 PM I do not like the morning line-up on 980 so I flat-out listen to the Junkies in the morning and catch 980 from 12-3 and then switch to Lavar. I don't mind the Snyder bashing. I'm done with Andy Polly and Zabe. WaldSkins 08-11-2009, 10:37 PM How many times can 106.7 say "the fan" in one commercial break? Ruhskins 08-11-2009, 10:40 PM Having listened much to the 106.7, so I don't know much about it. I must say that I'm getting sick of the Sports Reporters. I tuned in for a few mins today and they were being horribly negative about the team, and well I feel like they do that all the time. Sometimes I wonder if they go out of their way to be negative since Snyder owns the station. Granted I don't want a station that drinks the kool-aid 24/7, but these guys are pretty much pricks about their negativity. hooskins 08-11-2009, 10:42 PM I actually dont mind 106.7. It is nice to have a place you call actually call into. Also they have some good guests. Junkies beat Mike and Mike, but I hate LaVar. He isn't too smart on his show either, so evenings I switch to 980. Weekends and nights 1067 is better IMO. Especially if you dont wanna listen to Red Sox games. 2BIG2BSKINNY 08-11-2009, 11:00 PM I am an out of town fan but stream both when I listen, which is often now that the season is starting up. I hate the 980 morning shows like mike and mike and that heard guy. They often seem like they like to hear themselves speak... the 106.7 show in the morning are not that great either... they seem a little immature for my taste and often seem like a scene from a frat party that no one pledges! After lunch I started to listen to the Lavar show thinking it would suck but the show was pretty good... a little touch of negativity but they talk alot more about the Skins... I could care less about... is there any other sport!!!! They also seem to have there pulse on the local market better... I lived there for years before. I also was able to call in and ask a question! stu_nna 08-11-2009, 11:29 PM I do not like the morning line-up on 980 so I flat-out listen to the Junkies in the morning and catch 980 from 12-3 and then switch to Lavar. It is good to have something that you can change the channel and listen to. The other shows on 980 are fine, but they are becoming a bit stale. This pushes 980 to up the ante and now I have read on another board that Theismann will be doing a show on 980. This probably wouldn't have happened had there not been a competing station in town. |
