The only problem with Big Al is he's not media friendly. He's a great player, but he won't talk to the media and he doesn't do anything stupid to get on TV. Great for the team, but he doesn't become famous.

You got a point there. Though if he has a big season he'll probably be elevated to Reggie White status. As far as the media goes I think Chris Cooley is easily the face of this team. CP was for a while but the one thats really putting himself out there at this point is Chris. Hell at one point I think Jansen was the face of our team especially when he was in the studio for ESPN on draft day (guys going to be an awesome TV personallity).

Also it seems that Chill Will was the first one to put out a vote for Haynesworth so I guess that makes me senile. :D

I think the fact that it's not totally obvious to us tells us that we don't really have a "face of the franchise."

Patriots... Brady.

Colts... Manning.

Eagles... McNabb.

Bears... Urlacher.

We don't have a guy who jumps out at you as soon as you hear the team mentioned.

The fact we don't have a face to go with the franchise might not be a bad thing, remember there is no I in TEAM.

If you're basing it on being media friendly then I'm choosing D. Hall assuming he has a good season this year and makes the Pro Bowl.

Speaking of D. Hall and the media. He'll be on Colin Cowherd's show this morning....shameless plug.

But I can't see him as the face of the franchise personally. No votes for Zorn?

You're all wrong...it's the Red Snapper himself, Ethan Albright! What other "former worst player in Madden" is capable of pulling out a Pro Bowl appearance? He has been perfect in long snaps over the years. You just utter the words "Red Snapper" and other teams tuck tail and run.

Redskins = Red Snapper!

i gotta disagree here, the other guys listed as "faces of franchises" dont do stupid things to get on tv, they dominate on the field a la brady, manning, urlacher etc.
