Oh well, nice drive for the starting offense against the Steelers starting D -- but the fake punt helped...
Still wouldn't mind seeing them actually put the ball in the endzone though.

The Good:
Orakpo, Descent first team Oline play, Portis is the man
The Bad:
Secondary got carved by Charlie Batch...freakin Charlie Batch

Campbell was pretty good on third down, but he didn't have a completion on first or second down. Part of that was bizarre playcalling with the deep balls, and the rest of it seemed to be just runs.

If sellers injury is serious, then we'll probably get Lorenzo Neal. Just watch.

Through six quarters of preseason...
3 points scored
30 points surrendered
JC is 4/13 for 38 yards
Orakpo looks ok...needs some work in pass coverage
Special teams is suspect. At least Suisham made the X-tra Point (x 3)
Defense looks similar to what it has looked like in years past. Can't stop the third down play.
Overall, I'm not convinced this team is much better than they were last year. But it is only six quarters. And it is just preseason.

Man, Orakpo is a stud... he seems to be in on every play. Theismann is dead wrong saying Thomas waited on the ball while the defensive guy moved towards it. It was a soft pass into coverage and the defensive guy just ran in front and caught it. I didn't see Thomas sitting there waiting for the ball on the replay.
Lets see now... 6 quarters and 3 points. Hmmmm......

How was Campbell good on third downs. He was 1 for 7. Ummm, pretty bad in my books

Sam Huff has really become a sorry, sorry man. He's going off about how can London Fletcher expect to be a pro bowler if the best he can do is one tackle in the first preseason game (which, according to Huff, was nationally televised). The sooner he's let go of his radio duties, the better.
Seriously. He was talking about how Orakpo went to Oklahoma before Sonny and Larry corrected him. You'd think knowing what college the #1 draft pick attended would be mandatory for a broadcaster on the Redskins Radio Network.
Senility is sinking in.

Which third down are you speaking of? He was 1 for 7.
