I doubt it, due to limited availability..

Would he even be playing DE in a 4-3? He's only going to be on the line in obvious passing downs, so they will probably be in a nickle, dime, or even quarter defense with only one or two linebackers. That's what I assumed anyway.

See Slingin Sammy's training camp report from a while back. I asked about Blades, where he was playing. Sammy said that in the practice he attended, Blades only worked at MLB, his natural position.

I saw Blades in the game saturday, but I didn't see if he was ever lined up at OLB. Blades may not be an option at OLB unless there are a lot of injuries.

No mention of Fincher?

Uhm I did say "or maybe someone else." Duh! :D Anyway I have beef with Fincher. They rated him higher then my boy Blades on Madden.

I just dont see Fincher or Thomas making the final cut.
I am not really impressed by either.

Keep in mind we have 2 drafted LB rookies too...and if these guys can't play a lick above mediocre, they definately need to go

Hey if it works for Tryon it could work for Thomas or Henson

I'm not sure that Fincher is to blame for that. :)

Thomas is probably the best backup @ WLB in case Rocky sees trouble, and I think he's decent on teams.

Backup SLB is a legit concern it seems to me. Like others say Wilson doesn't seem to have the skill to drop back, read coverage and see the whole field. Fincher needs to get more reps IMO at the spot before we can really say if he'll hold his own in the regular season. And Blades can obviously be serviceable there but he's not ideal. Sort of a tough show. I haven't paid any attention to the 2 rookie LBs. What's the word on them?

Speaking of Marcus Washington, has anyone heard anything about him lately?
