Randy Moss = no class

Eh. Immediately saying eff Moss and eff the Patriots as soon as you heard what Moss said could qualify as a tantrum. Or outburst. Or whatever. Who cares what it's labeled. You were cussing him and his team in your very first post, so it sure seemed like a reaction to what he said to Tanner.

I don't hate the Patriots. They're fun to watch, and they're not our rival. We could learn a few things from them really. Everyone is all sour grapes because they took us behind the woodshed two years ago.

See this is where things get screwed up. When someone misquotes someone or makes broad statements that aren't necessarily true. 1-I didn't cuss him in my first post. Unless you consider calling him an ignorant hillbilly cussing. 2-To imply that I don't like the Pats just because they beat us is completely wrong. I've held their team and coach in low regard for many years. 3- I'll remember from now on that when you're passionate about how you feel....it's considered a tantrum, hopefully you will too. But on the bright side...I'm glad you take so much interest in my posts.

1) Misquoting and making broad statements? Huh? In your first post you said "f*ck the Pats" and "Moss is an ignorant hillbilly." So yeah, looked like an angry reaction (or tantrum since you're so hung up on that word) to what he said to Tanner, with cussing involved since you want to nit pick.

If I was Cooley I would bitch slap my brother for posting that garbage on my cool website. Dude had no business whatsoever in that locker room. It's like he feels entitled because hey "I'm Chris Cooley's brother."

I have no doubts Moss is a jerk, but that was some crybaby nonsense.

I don't think it should come as any surprise that Moss is a bit of a jerk. That's all I'm taking away from this.

First off, I'm not suprised that Randy Moss is an asshole. I dont think anyone should be shocked by that.

I've been on the receving end of some of these types of things from athletes as well when I covered sports for a radio station, and I specifically remember one (current not at the time) New York Yankees pitcher absolutley flipping a shit on me for trying to get an interview and being to close to his locker. Its a big reason why I got out of that business, because I like sports too much to have crap like that take the love of it away from me. (I will say this though, any Redskin I've ever come in contact with for the most part has been awesome). Moss should have just said he didnt do interviews or something, theres no need to be a dick about it.....

At the same time though, I dont think Cooleys blog should be a place to call out other NFL players. I dont care if its coming from Cooley or not, just let it go. When he wants to have fun with Romo and Witten becuase they're friends or whatever, thats fine with me and I think its halarious. However, questioning someones character, even if it is true, I dont really think I like. He called out Ben Watson too, who basically just declined the interview from the sounds of it.

Funny, this coming from a guy who just minutes ago gave a mini-lecture on misquoting and making broad statements that aren't necessarily true.

The most concise post and probably the most accurate.

I understand that I said some bold things in the post about Moss. I will get to that, but first things first. Chris's website has garnered enough attention that the Redskins have issued me a media pass to cover the games and practices for his site. If some of you don't like that I don't know what to tell you. The site is what it is and we have fun doing it.

Now, about the post. It was never my intentions to make another player look bad or raise any negative thoughts about the Patriot players. I was going into the locker room, which was open to all media, to interview Tom Brady. His availability was canceled after the injury. So, being that I was already in there, I decided to try and talk to other players. Randy Moss, after catching 2 td's and having a great game, immediately came to mind.

When he saw me he could have very easily said "sorry man, I'm not doing press right now." But instead, he rudely asked what I wanted then told me it didn't mean shit to him. That was the reason for my post. As I said in my post, I was a ZILCH in their locker room, but there was no need for him to act like that. I don't feel like he owed me an interview or that he should even give me the time of day. But I have seen professional locker rooms. They are generally filled with members of the media. He knows the difference between being an ass and brushing someone off.

In the future, for all you that call me out about not working and riding coat tails, I read it all. I am a college graduate and I work very hard at what I do. In less than a year I will be in medical school and you haters can celebrate when I'm gone from the site. Until then, if you don't like what we write, you don't have to bitch about it here.
