Each Friday, given we have the time, we plan to predict the Redskins game and the other NFC East team games, right here at DCPSR. Probably be eating a ton of crow come Mondays, but hey, that's what were here for. Included here are prediction from myself owner of DCPSR, Spence, my partner owner, Matt Kyer, the Admin at our forum partner, theWarpath.net (http://www.thewarpath.net/), and SmootSmack, a moderator at theWarpath.net

Matt was a bit late, but that is cool, he will jump right in next week.

Every one of you guys picked the Panthers? Interesting. I hope that you are correct.

Let's go Tampa and pull a surprise!

what amazes me is the national media just gives us near zero chance.

what amazes me is the national media just gives us near zero chance.

Tonight on NFL Network Tom Waddle said he could not understand why we would spend so much money on someone like AH "just to finish in last place." Then he was completely dismissive of our chances to beat the Giants.

Constructive criticism is fine but he came off as a true hater.

The answer to the "no respect" thing...WIN. And not these games against the cheifs, raiders, rams(which we couldn't do last year) but meaningful games when it counts. Make playoffs every year, win a game or two, make some conference championship games, then we will get the respect you all think we deserve. Just because our owner is the master of hype and offseason expectations, doesn't automatically put us in the league of the Patriots, Eagles, Colts..ect.

This crap of the media hating on the Skins is getting old folks. Stand back, look at it from a "knowledgeable" football fan, not the die hard Redskins fan we all are.

I'm calling the upset right here, and no, it isn't a homer pick, but more of a gut check pick. The Redskins are a better football team beyond what they were last season . . . They are improved on the offensive line with a better Stephon Heyer and the addition of Derrick Dockery.

I still don't understand why people think this. Dockery is younger than what we would have had with Kendall. That's about it. He represents a slight upgrade at best. And Stephon Heyer? How exactly is he "better" ?? What do you base that on? He was a nice find as an undrafted free agent, and he's a serviceable guy. But I've seen nothing to indicate these two guys make the offensive line significantly better than it was last year. It is by far our biggest question mark, and it has been ignored in the top rounds of the draft for years.

Not a homer pick, but a "gut check pick" ?? Uh-huh.
