RIP I think I have watched Roadhouse 10-20 times this year alone, seems like it's on all the channels, and if nothing else is on, it's kind of a fall back movie. He was a good actor, and seemed to get the best out of his roles. 57, wow, what a shame.

Very sad. I was expecting this news soon unfortunately. Pancreatic cancer is a death sentence. EFF cancer.
BTW- how is your friend doing with her fight? Something loin, if I remeber correctly.
I found it! She looks like she may be close to being out of the woods.

It was the best team I ever put together, and I don't think that was a coincidence.
Point Break is another movie I could watch over and over again. His role in Donnie Darko was great. And the SNL skit with Swayze and Chris Farley having the dance-off for the Chippendale's job is my all time favorite.
Damn, RIP Patrick Swayze indeed!

My signature was "El nombre es Dalton" for a while. You have to to really like a movie to watch the Spanish version.

Wow. He hung in there longer than most thought he would. At least he's now pain-free and in a better place.
A solid actor who had a good grasp on what he could and could not do. I enjoyed them all. One of the best (and cheesiest) lines of any movie I've ever seen was his Roadhouse quip, "pain don't hurt."
RIP Patrick. You will be missed.
