That goal on Varly was the perfect example of why he will not be the starter going into the playoffs.

Even though the score is 1-1 right now, the Caps are dominating this game. I can't wait for the playoffs!

How did we loose with Boyd Gordon and Matt Bradley on the shootout?

I'm just disappointed to see Ovy lose out to Henrik Sedin for most points and now that he didn't have a goal Stamkos and Crosby both have an opportunity to pass him to win the goal scoring title outright. But I look on the bright side, I'd rather win the Cup than see Ovy get all his individual stats and I'm sure he feels the same way.

That's actually a really good question. That's a very popular quote when talking about Crosby with my fellow Caps fans lol.

So the Caps finished the regular season with 121 points. Thats the most points franchise history. They won the presidents trophy, and have multiple players in top stat rankings.

They're going to be playing the Montreal Canadians in the first round of the playoffs. Montreal is a tough team, but we're going to beat them.

At this point I will be disappointed with anything less than a Stanley Cup. We're unarguably the best team in the NHL and I'm going to expect nothing less than the world championship.

Agreed?

100% agreed. I just worry about defense/goaltending. I don't want to be the NHL's version of the Phoenix Suns.

Varly is the future, but Theo needs to be starting in the playoffs.
