Bull puckey. The whole liberal media bias is the biggest crock the right has peddled in years. When Acorn get's more media than Halliburton and Blackwater, the teabaggers garner more coverage than the very corporate interests that funded, organized, and advertised the movement, and when Obama's "olympic failure" gets more coverage than a prominent conservative group cheering when the bid failed, don't preach to me about liberal media bias.

And for the record, I think Palin will win the GOP nomination and what a glorious day that will be. But she's yet to give a substantive interview or speech on policy, or articulate her general views and vision for America. Nothing. If Palin is thorough, thoughtful and can make her case before the American people over and over in different settings and venues, then the media will give her a fair shake. But if all she want's to do is rile up the base, have spats with bloggers, post drive by messages on facebook and twitter, and talk about how much she loves the troops as a diversion from the topic at hand she'll continue to get hammered. Fair or not. Bottom line, Sarah Palin is responsible for the negative perception she has created. No one else. Not the media, not Katie Couric, not Tina Fey. It's all on Palin.
No liberal bias , really ? How do you explain the non-lib media spending millions attacking a plumber , nothing about a Chicago terrorist -teacher ? How about the number of holmes McCain owned, nothing about Pres. Cand. J kerry snopes.com: John Kerry's Houses (http://www.snopes.com/politics/kerry/homes.asp) . Are you referring to Joe the non-plumber who's now a self professed comedian? The media spent millions attacking him? That's news to me. No pun intended. Look, Samuel (his name ain't Joe, by the way) put himself in the middle of a very heated and close general election. He stumped with John McCain and Sarah Palin for weeks, appeared on numerous talk shows and publicly spoke against McCain's opponent. So he was fair game. You do realize once you're a surrogate for a national candidate, you can't just go back to claiming that you're the average Joe again. He's famous now and truth be told he wanted it. If he was attacked, he was attacked as a spokesman for John McCain and not as your average private citizen.

As far as Obama's merits, if I posted a list for you to see with your own two eyes, you'd simply discredit them one by one. So who are we fooling here. Besides, I really don't care to get into a tit for tat about what Obama hasn't done v. what he's done v. what he promised. If he's a flop, the American people will vote the Bill Ayers, terrorist, loving bum out the White House. Plain and simple.

In fairness The media starting attacking him the moment he asked Mr. Obama the question on taxes being raised . It was after that he became a media magnet . But you are correct , he could have chose to not be interviewed , never heard him complain about the attention . I would not dismiss what Obama has done as a public servant , just thought during the campaign how ironic it was how Palin was viewed as not ready and Obama was treated as an " amazing " person with close to the same number of years serving the public . As all Presidents , we will have the final say every 4 years ,,,, have a nice day 12th .

Another innocent sports related thread turned "Political". This is what happens in all political threads.

First, a guy gets on his :soapbox: then people begin to :argue:. Then the :hitfan: when :angry-smi:, then everyone goes back and forth :spank: each other. Then another guy has to come in with his own  which if you think about it it is really offtopic, but it doesn't matter because everyone is so :madani: at this point that rationalle just doesn't matter. Everyone just continues on with their :censored:, turning this site into nothing more than a written :boxing: match. At this point all Matty can do is sit back and .
